What time should I arrive?
Answer
Please arrive 15–30 minutes before the official ceremony start time so you are seated prior to Ryan's nieces parading down the aisle with flowers and cuteness.

Is there parking available at the venue?
Answer
YES! Plenty of parking! Make sure to factor in Chicago weekend traffic for travel times.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Ceremony will be in a covered outdoor space with beautiful brick flooring. The reception will be indoors in a lofted air conditioned space.

What is the dress code?
Answer
Semi-formal: Suits, cocktail or midi dresses are perfect. We want you to feel elegant but comfortable, lookin' fine and fresh.

How do you RSVP? When is the RSVP deadline?
Answer
You can RSVP right here on our website by July 31st. If you have any issues with your RSVP please contact Elise and Ryan.

Can I bring a plus-one or my kids?
Answer
Due to space limitations, we can only accommodate the guests listed on your specific invitation or nursing children. Thanks for understanding!

How do I communicate dietary restrictions or food allergies?
Answer
You will be prompted for any dietary restrictions while filling out your RSVP online.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Answer
We’ve hired an incredible photographer and want you to be fully present with us. We ask that you keep phones away during the ceremony, but feel free to take as many photos as you want at the reception!

What should I do if I can no longer make it?
Answer
You will be missed! Please update your RSVP on our website as soon as possible so we can give our caterer an accurate final head count.

Ceremony 4:00-4:45pm, Cocktail Hour 4:45-6:00pm, Reception 6:00pm-10:30pm. Please see the Schedule page for more details!

What's the weather typically like this time of year?

End of August is still summertime in Chicago, usually coming down from the warmest of weather. Praying for beautiful skies, a gentle breeze, and smiling guests :)

Live band? Who are they? How did you hear about them?
Answer
Sooooooooo happy you asked. Ryan finished a half marathon in Downtown Chicago a little over a year ago and heard the amazing "Vitality Band" performing at the post race party. It was 9am in an empty Grant Park but they were playing like it was primetime in a sold out United Center. We're excited to dance the night away with everyone along to some great live music!

Answer
The ceremony space is covered outdoors, the vows must go on rain or shine! Reception space is indoors.
