One of Elise's favorite places in the city.

Known for it's Polar Bear exhibit. We went here during the Holidays to see the elaborate Christmas Lights Display.

Henry Ford Museum & Greenfield Village

Take a trip back in time to a collection of history.

Eastern Market

A bustling farmer's market in Detroit. It's a great place to spend your Saturday morning, and the source of several dates for us.

Campus Martius Park

A park in the heart of downtown. It's also where we took our first picture together.

Belle Isle

A beautiful place to get a glimpse of both the Detroit skyline and Canada. We've been her several times to walk or hammock. *Does require a park permit, which can be purchased upon entry.

Dequindre Cut

A great greenway for walks, bike rides, or rollerskating.

Motown Museum

A great place to learn about Motown Music.

Vietnamese restaurant. One of our go-to places when the weather is cool.

Bakersfield DET

Tacos! Location of our second date, We both left rather uncertain of how the other felt. Thankfully we're on the same page now.

A sweet spot we visit even in the dead of winter, because it's never too cold for ice cream or gelato. And where we took personality tests to ensure compatibility.

Japanese-inspired food. This is where we ate dinner to end our first date of walking around Midtown.

Great food! But where Peter judged Elise for getting a burger wrapped in lettuce, because they don't have gluten free options.

Fun place for brunch Downtown. (A short walk from Campus Martius)

Super cool place for drinks, dinner, or brunch in Corktown. It's been a fun date spot for us.
