We're excited to share some of our favorite Portland things with you! If you have an extra day or two, we highly recommend a trip to the Columbia Gorge, as well as a trip to the Oregon Coast. Manzanita, Cannon Beach, and Astoria are the coastal towns we frequent. If you're coming for a quick trip to the city, here are a few tips to help you get a lay of the land. Portland is split into quadrants. The Willamette River separates East and West; Burnside Street separates North and South. We have lived in every quadrant and love the unique flavor each has to offer. Portland's best neighborhoods center around lively commercial streets with restaurants, bars, and shops. A great way to spend an afternoon, head to one of the streets listed below, and you're sure to stumble upon something cool. We've also listed a few of our favorite local haunts.
