FAQs

The Wedding Website of Elise Thomas and Michael McNally
If you have any questions not addressed here, please contact Elise at (508) 208‑0204.
Question

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

Our ceremony will be at Majestic Mirage beach pavilion, followed by a cocktail hour at the Piano Bar and reception in the Mirage Ballroom.

Question

How do I book my room?

Answer

Contact P&H Travel at (508) 588-5100. Ask for Phil or Tracy and mention the Thomas/McNally room block for our group rate. This is a FREE service at NO ADDITIONAL COST to you.

Question

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes, a valid passport is required for all guests. If you need a new or renewed passport, please be aware that turnaround times can be quite long, so the sooner you apply the smoother the process should be. Also note that your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after October 2026. If it expires sooner, you'll need to renew it in order to travel, as airlines may deny boarding with soon-to-expire passport.

Question

Are kids welcome at the wedding?

Answer

We absolutely love your little ones! While our ceremony and reception will be adults-only, with the exception of children participating in the ceremony, we completely understand that traveling without your little ones isn’t always possible. If you choose to bring your little ones with you to Punta Cana, we’d love to see them on the beach or by the pool and enjoy time together before and after the wedding celebrations. - Please refer to the question below regarding child care options, if needed.

Question

Will child care be available during the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! The resort offers on-site babysitting services during both daytime and evening hours, available from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. (midnight). Care can take place in your guest room or in the Family Club lounge. The cost is $30 USD per child, per hour. If you plan to bring your little ones and utilize these services during the wedding celebration, please let Elise know as soon as you book your travel and RSVP. This allows her to share the information with the resort in advance so they can plan appropriate staffing for the day. Thank you for helping us plan ahead—we appreciate it.

Question

What’s included at the resort?

Answer

Your stay is all-inclusive, which means all meals, drinks, on-site activities, and entertainment are included. Please note that off-resort excursions (such as group tours booked through the hotel) or Spa services are available at an additional cost, should you choose to participate. If you’ve never stayed at an all-inclusive resort or have any questions, feel free to reach out to Elise anytime—she’s happy to help and could talk about it for days.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Ceremony: Beach formal (light, breathable fabrics recommended) Note: The Ceremony will be on the beach, so please plan your footwear accordingly (sandals, boat shoes, etc.) Reception: Dress to dance! Wear what makes you feel amazing!

Question

What’s the weather like in Punta Cana?

Answer

Warm and tropical year round. Expect highs in the 80s during the day and 70s at night. BRING SUNBLOCK!
