Our wedding attire is semi-formal or formal attire. It may be a bit chilly in the mountains in November, and the ceremony is in a Catholic church, so please dress appropriately for both! Anything from cocktail dresses and sport coats to floor length gowns and full suits are welcome!
With the tight limit on how many quests can fit at our venue, we have worked hard to make sure we can include all of our special people on our special day. With that said, please only bring an extra guest if it was specified on your invitation. We thank you in advance!
Please let the Bride or Groom know if you have any dietary restrictions, preferences or allergies, so we can let our catering team know ahead of time. We want everyone to enjoy their meal!
We will be providing transportation between the hotel, church and reception venue, and back to the hotel, on the day of the wedding. There is more information on this under the Travel tab on this website. Please keep in mind that there is a transition between the ceremony and the reception (about a 25 minute drive). The venue has mentioned that it is difficult to get uber rides up in the mountains. If you plan to drive yourself, please be careful on the mountain roads!
Of course!! We highly encourage guests to extend their stay if they would like to see some of California. We do not plan to leave for a honeymoon until later in the week and would love to join in on any hiking, coastal walks, and vineyard tours that you are interested in. Please see the "Things to do" tab for more fun things in the Bay area!
We recommend staying in the town of Los Gatos, which is just south of San Jose. This will keep you central to wedding events and within easy reach of the coast or San Jose if you wish to visit either! We will also have a hotel block at the Tollhouse Hotel for guests, which is a great deal, and is in walking distance to many cafes, restaurants and shops in the cute town of Los Gatos. This is also where transportation will pick up/drop off guests, if you plan to take advantage of this. See the Travel tab for more information on booking rooms.
If you choose to drive yourself to the ceremony, parking at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Joseph is all city/street parking. There is no parking lot. There is Handicap parking on the road in front of the church and a ramp to the Left side, for those who need it. There are several parking decks nearby. Suggested parking on the image below: Link to image for Church Parking: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mSjiFPWgP_otYRotB6ixggXphzDWasOS/view?usp=sharing
