This hotel is only a 15 minute drive from the ceremony and about a 30 minute drive from the reception. It is located in downtown Riverhead, right next to an awesome aquarium and great restaurants. This location is a good option for those of you looking to head back west the next morning.

For large groups, renting a home from a service like AirBnB is a great choice. There are a number of listings in the area and for various setups (e.g., whole houses, condos, etc.), so definitely worth checking out!

Rental Car

By Car

We highly recommend taking the scenic drive "out east" in your own vehicle or by renting a car to fully enjoy the weekend on the North Fork. While Uber is available, a rental car will give you more flexibility to explore the area on your own terms.

LIRR

The Long Island Rail Road offers trains out of Penn Station in NYC to both Mattituck and Greenport. There are only a few trains a day, so please check schedules in advance.

Flight

JFK, LaGuardia, and MacArthur

LaGuardia and MacArthur are the closest airports to the North Fork. You can even connect to the Hampton Jitney from LaGuardia.

Hampton Jitney

The Hampton Jitney is a luxury motor coach with reasonable rates. It leaves from various locations in NYC and stops throughout the North Fork. Please see their website for rates and hours.

Cross Sound Ferry

This ferry runs between New London, CT and Orient, NY, which is only a short drive from Greenport. It can accommodate cars and pedestrians. Note that you need to make reservations in advance.
