Ebony and Elise are sisters by blood and friends by choice! They are bonded by their mutual love of reading, music, goofiness and laughing. Elise has always emulated Ebony, from starring in the high school musical just like her big sister to reading every book she could get her hands on. Ebony is a strong woman of God and Elise’s ever-present cheerleader. Knowing that Ebony will always be there for her, Elise has asked her to be her cheerleader on one of the most important days of her life. In the words of Cece Winans: always sisters, always friends!
Heather
Maid of Honor
With both of them having Masters degrees in Forensic Psychology from Marymount University, they already have a bond that is quite rare. But the fact that they also both love Smallville?! Now that’s once in a lifetime! Heather has shown herself to be a true friend that sticks closer than a brother (Proverbs 18:24). Her wisdom, humor, love for Christ and understanding have been a breath of fresh air in Elise’s life, and as such, she’ll be right by her side on the big day.
Grant
Groomsman
Matt and Grant created a special bond the day they first met each other at Church. They both like motorcycles. As they talked, they decided it would be fun to take a ride together. Matt at that time had his motorcycle located an hour away in Maryland. The kind person that Grant is, without hesitation, offered to drive Matt to Maryland to pick up his motorcycle so they could ride. The trust and friendship with Grant just got stronger from there. Grant is the type of person that once a special bond is created and trust is made, he will be there for that person forever. Matt feels very lucky to have that type of person in his life, but furthermore a person that loves and follows the Lord.
Josh
Best Man
Josh is Matt’s big brother. Being only thirteen months apart in age, they did everything together. They played every sport you could think of one-on-one in the backyard. They would build forts together and do boy things outside until the sun went down. Matt and Josh created their own language that no one could seem to understand, not even their parents :) Moving quite a few times growing up, they always knew they had each other. As they both went their separate ways to attend college, they always made an effort to visit each other. After college, the brotherhood bond continued with trips to Arizona, Washington and even Alaska, where Josh once lived. Although distance separates them, they both know that they will always be there for each other.
