Portland Saturday Market
This market is quintessential Portland, with it's quirky characters and homemade items. Also the perfect thing to do Saturday morning before or after brunch!
Waterfront Park Trail
This is a great little walking trail around the river. Springtime is the perfect time to go with all the tree blossoms and you’ll be able to see many of Portland’s famous bridges.
Powell's City of Books
If you love books (or even if you don't), and haven't checked out Powell's yet, it's a must see. Powell’s City of Books is the largest used and new bookstore in the world, occupying an entire city block and housing approximately one million books. There's even a rare book room on the top floor.
OMSI
A great museum for kids and adults alike. Built around making science fun, there are countless hands on exhibits that everyone can enjoy.
Tough Luck
If you want to visit the bar that Matt works at, this is the place! It's a fun, laid-back neighborhood bar with shuffleboard, minors until 8pm, and plenty to drink.
Rum Club
A cozy, intimate cocktail bar with excellent drinks! A service industry staple, where Matt worked for four years. Also where our celebration is being hosted.
Loyal Legion
Excellent for the beer lovers! They have 99 taps of Oregon only beers and ciders, as well as a full bar. Make it super cheap and go during their Happy Hour from 2pm-6pm every day.
Tusk
One of the bride and groom's all time favorite restaurants in Portland. Super fresh, vegetable forward, and their hummus is to die for.
Hey Love
For the plant lovers.... This place has an amazing atmosphere filled with plants, great food, and cocktails. It's also on the ground floor of the Jupiter Next, so if you're staying there, check this place out!
Creepy's
Low lit dive bar that is filled to the brim with odd and creepy trinkets that come alive and artwork that watches you. Bar secret...Ask for a 50/50 split of their frozen grasshopper and frozen coffee mixed and you will NOT be disappointed.
The Old Gold
Cute neighborhood bar that specializes in whiskey. This was the bride and groom's favorite spot (and were there once a week at least) when they lived in the Overlook area for four years. Also, the same owners as Tough Luck, so you can't go wrong.
5 and Dime
The couple's new favorite neighborhood bar! You can catch Matt and Elise here about once a week, with a great tap list of beer, wine, and cocktails. (Yes...wine and cocktails on tap. It's great!) Right next store to one of Portland's best pizza places, Atlas.
Pittock Mansion
On the edge of downtown Portland with some of the best views of the city and Mt. Hood (on a clear day).
Voicebox Karaoke - SE Portland
Snag a whole room to yourself and sing by the hour. One of the couple’s favorite pastimes.
