Before coming to altitude, and in the first few days, drink extra water, eat more carbohydrates, and if you can, ascend to altitude slowly. Water is the number one way to help your body adjust to our high and dry air. You need to drink twice the amount of water here as you would at home.
August is a beautiful time to be in Aspen (and a much welcomed change from the humidity in the South!). The highs are typically in the mid-high 70's with lows in the high 40's.
To allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make all wedding events adults only. We thank you for understanding.
If you're staying in town, you probably don't need one. Most hotels have shuttle services to take you to and from the airport and Aspen is a very walkable town. If you're staying in Snowmass or plan to explore outside of Aspen, we would recommend renting a car. Aspen has some taxi services but only has about 2 Ubers for the entire area.
Please make note of any dietary restrictions on our RSVP page!
ASAP! August is a very popular time to be in Aspen. We highly recommend you make any necessary flight arrangements and book your hotel rooms as soon as you know you are able to join us. Please see our travel page for all hotel room block information and airport details.
Please feel free to RSVP on our wedding website. If not, formal invitations have been sent out with response cards. Please RSVP by July 10, 2021.
