Elise & Jack

Jack and Elise met in 2021 during their first semester of college at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI, where Jack lived two floors above Elise in Eckstein Tower. They started dating on 1/6/2022, and the two have spent much of their time backpacking, hiking, cooking extravagant meals, and visiting local restaurants and coffee shops.

Last summer, as Jack bunked down in the barracks at Air Assault School in Georgia and Cadet Summer Training in Kentucky, Elise spent twelve weeks sleeping under the stars while serving on mission in Colorado. Jack picked Elise up from Colorado, and while exploring the Rocky Mountains and Badlands together, they decided to tie the knot. Jack proposed to Elise on 9/20/2024, and the couple is excitedly awaiting to celebrate their wedding this year!

Jack is a mechanical engineering major and will commission as a second lieutenant in the US Army in December 2025. Elise is a biomedical / computer engineering major and will graduate in May 2025.
