Another beautiful and historic winery in the foothills just east of town. A great place to spend a few hours while in the Wine country on Labor Day weekend.
Scribe Winery
This is a great place to chill and sip wine while looking out at the vineyards. It's close to the square and the wines are fantastic.
Hanzell Vineyards
One of our absolute favorite wines..(especially the Chardonnay). It is located close to downtown Sonoma and it's a perfect visit on your weekend wine tours.
Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa
A beautiful and historic hotel in the northern part of Sonoma. Treat yourself to a massage at their award winning Spa facility or relax by the pool.
Glen Ellen Village Market
One of Elise and I's favorite places to spend a day (or a weekend) in, is the charming little town of Glen Ellen. They have an old bar in town called the Jack London Saloon, a couple of great restaurants including Aventine, the Fig Cafe, and this market, the Glen Ellen Village market for anything you would need including some amazing deli sandwiches. The town is located about 15-20 minutes northwest of Sonoma.
Domaine Carneros
With it's stunning French Chateau-like estate resting on the hillside along highway 12, Domaine Carneros is a picturesque scene and an amazing sight to see. They offer amazing sparkling wines and a tour that you won't soon forget. Remember to book in advance and take pictures!
Ram's Gate Winery
Perched up on a hill, you will pass this beautiful winery on your way up to Sonoma. It's beautiful views of the valley and delicious wines will make you want to stay awhile. A favorite place of the Bride to be, Elise.
Jacuzzi Family Vineyards
Located just down the road from the wedding venue, Jacuzzi has a beautiful property to explore and nice wines to sip out on the gorgeous back plaza.
Gloria Ferrer Wines
Enjoy a tour at Gloria Ferrer, home to their renowned sparkling wines. The property is located directly across the street from Cornerstone Gardens, where the wedding will be held.
Cornerstone Sonoma
This beautiful property is where the wedding will be held on Saturday. In addition to the beautiful gardens and exhibits, which you will see during the wedding, there is also a wine tasting room, cafe, and marketplace where you can spend the other days eating delicious food and tasting wine. The marketplace also offers very cool shops to check out.
