Carlo met Elise on the pickleball courts at Hounz Lane park. Carlo was new to the sport and Elise had been playing for about a year. Elise introduced herself and asked him to compete with her in a tournament together. The two hit it off, and their pickleball partnership soon blossomed into a relationship. Carlo asked Elise to be his girlfriend on 6/19/2021 while celebrating her birthday at the Omni Hotel. Throughout the last couple of years, they have gone on many adventures, trying new things and visiting new places together.

Carlo proposed to Elise at the Brown Forman Silo Center in the Parklands. He took her to the top of the park's silo to look at the beautiful view, and got down on one knee to pop the question. Elise, through a lot of tears, said yes!

Carlo and Elise share many hobbies together. They both love playing pickleball - which is how the two met- and traveling. In his spare time, Carlo enjoys all things Halo, body surfing, and mountain biking. Elise also enjoys biking and in her free time loves to read and explore new places. The two love watching movies together, playing disc golf, going out for dancing and drinks, and attending trivia and game nights.
