Mutual friends (bridesmaid Kayla & groomsman Austin) had us in mind for each other during the summer of 2015. Neither of us acted on it until we fatefully ran into one other at a bar in downtown Indianapolis. We exchanged phone numbers and went on our first date the next day. The rest was love & history!

Ben proposed to Elise on a picnic in Annecy, France - our first international trip together. The picnic was followed by a surprise engagement photo session. Although it was nearly rained out, we loved our time exploring Lake Annecy and the beautiful mountains with our photographer, Anne Ucla. This was her first time photographing a proposal and she expertly guided us, even despite the language barrier!
