Where is the ceremony and reception being held?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at the Highlands Mansion and Gardens, located at 7001 Sheaff Lane in Fort Washington, PA beginning at 2:00 PM. We are hoping to have the ceremony outside in the gardens but will be weather permitting. Cocktail hour and the reception will follow the ceremony. Hoping to hold the CEREMONY outside, approximately 20 minutes duration. Please come prepared for the weather. Please arrive by 1:30pm to take your seat. COCKTAIL RECEPTION will be held inside the mansion and on the heated terrace. DINNER RECEPTION will be held inside the heated tent.

There is parking available next to the mansion.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail/Formal attire. Dresses or long gowns for the Ladies. Fall colors 🍁🍂 or blue 💙. Gentlemen, please wear a button down shirt and nice pants and nice shoes.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to the limited capacity of our wedding venue, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally listed on the wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, their name will show under your name on the RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

What time should I arrive to the Wedding Ceremony and Reception venue?

Answer

Andrew and I ask that everyone arrives to The Highlands’ grounds by 1:30pm to ensure that all guests are seated promptly and in ample time before the ceremony begins at 2:00pm. Thank you!

Which side should I sit on during the ceremony?

Answer

Please sit on whichever side you would like! Fill in the space! We would like to see all of our guests' smiling faces as they witness our Ceremony!

Can I use my cell phone to take photos and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that the ceremony be “unplugged” and that all cell phones be turned OFF during the Nuptials. We ask that everyone be totally present with us for the duration of the Ceremony! We will be having a professional photographer and videographer who will be capturing the entire ceremony as well as the Reception. Thank you for your understanding! :)
