Its happening!!!!

So Jamale and I met on a grey hound bus in Iowa. On that bus ride I met my soul mate and best friend. Jamale and I initially started talking about life and our plans. The 5 hour bus ride felt like minutes to us. We talked about everything and nothing all at the same time. In this conversation we found out that we both went to the same Elementary School, Edmund Burke for 1st-3rd grade and the rest was history.

For My 30th Birthday Jamale and I traveled from Iowa to Chicago to celebrate with family and friends. He said he had been ripping and running all day. Nervous and trying to make sure everything was perfect. I of course had no idea what the night entailed. After getting my hair and makeup done; We went to Dinner at Eddie V's restaurant downtown Chicago. After an amazing dinner he ended the night by looking at me saying "I don't know a lot but I know I want to be with you forever," and opened the box. Of course I said YES. We will be getting married on my birthday which will be two years after he proposed.
