The Orioles are in town the weekend of our wedding. Camden Yards is one of our favorite places to spend our summer evenings, and we would highly recommend catching a game while you are in town if your schedule allows! They play the Cubs on Thursday night and the Royals on Friday night. Camden Yards is about a 30 minute walk from the hotels or a short bus or Uber ride away.
Hours are 8AM-12:30PM. A frequent Saturday morning activity for us, this farmers market is right in the center of Fells Point. Grab coffee from Zekes and an empanada from DMV Empanadas.
A Baltimore Landmark
Lots of museums to check out, all along the Promenade (Baltimore's Waterfront): - The National Aquarium - The Museum of Industry - American Visionary Art Museum
All of these are walkable from the hotels. Here are some of our favorite recommendations in this neighborhood: - Bunnys, Buckets & Bubbles - Our favorite brunch and dinner spot in the city, where we went for dinner after we got engaged! - Ekiben - Famous on Yelp. This is mainly a takeout location with very limited seating options. - The Spice and Tea Exchange - Elisabeth's favorite shop in Baltimore - The Sound Garden - One of the largest record stores in the US. There are always events and pop ups on their patio - Greedy Reads - Local book store, great for browsing Fells Point is also where we got our engagement photos taken!
The neighborhood we call home! Some of our favorites in Canton: - Bmore Licks. They have 100 different made to order soft serve flavors! - Cafe Dear Leon. Great coffee shop, but be ready to wait a bit in line. - Patterson Park. We got engaged under the Cherry Blossom trees next to the Pagoda. - Favorite restaurants: The Dive, Pho Bac, The Chasseur, Mama's on the Half Shell
