What time do we need to arrive?
Answer
Please arrive at the ceremony 30 minutes in advance. There is a quarter-mile walk from the parking lot of Botany Bay to the beach where the ceremony will take place.

What if I am unable to make the walk from the parking lot to the beach?
Answer
The local fire department has beach wheelchairs that they will allow us to borrow! Just let us know, and we will make the arrangements.

Why is the ceremony so early?
Answer
The only way to access the beach at Botany Bay is during low tide. We decided on the ceremony times based on the tide charts. We apologize in advance if the temperature is a little warm!

How long will the ceremony last?
Answer
We decided to have a shorter ceremony! It should be less than 20 minutes long.

Where do we go after the ceremony?
Answer
The reception will be held at an Airbnb on the island. The address will be updated shortly! After the ceremony, while the wedding party is taking photos, guests are encouraged to hang out at the Airbnb where light refreshments will be available before dinner.

Will there be an open bar at the reception?
Answer
While we have decided not to provide an open bar for the reception, guests are welcome to bring their own beverages if they choose to do so! Pack a cooler!

Can I bring my child?

While we love your kids, this is an adults-only kind of party! We kindly request that only those listed on the invitation attend. Thank you for understanding!

What should I wear?
Answer
While we’re celebrating by the sea, we kindly ask that guests dress in elevated beachwear. Think sundresses, slacks, polos, or button-downs. Please avoid shorts, flip flops, or overly casual attire. No need for tuxedos—just polished, comfortable, and wedding-appropriate. Please avoid wearing white!

When do I need to RSVP by?
Answer
Please let us know by April 1st! You can RSVP through this website by clicking on the RSVP tab. If you are unable to attend, we’ll miss you, but completely understand if you can’t make it — no hard feelings at all!
