Mainau is an island in Lake Constance (Bodensee) and reachable via the federal highway B 33. A pedestrian bridge leads you directly from the parking lot onto the island.

From Konstanz station take the bus no. 4 direction 'Wallhausen/Hafen, Konstanz' and exit at 'Mainau'.

The nearest railway station is Konstanz (Constance). From here take the bus no. 4 direction 'Wallhausen/Hafen, Konstanz' and exit at 'Mainau'. The journey lasts about 15 minutes.

For Our Abroad Guests
We are so thankful you are traveling for us! It is easiest is to fly into Zurich and take a train or rent a car. You can also fly into Munich or Stuttgart, but the drive is much longer. Since Mainau is an Island, you will need to take a taxi from the train station in Konstanz.
