Masks/ Face Coverings are Optional during the Wedding Ceremony and the Reception. We will provide a white face mask if you do not have one and would like one.
Please arrive at the Church of St. Peter by 12:45 pm. Guests will be directed into the church to be seated no later than 12:50 pm.
The dress code is traditional African Clothing or American Formal (dresses and suits, if not able, wear your Sunday's best).
Food will be provided by a West African Restaurant, Akwaaba, and an American BBQ Restaurant, Famous Dave's. Please email b3altena@gmail.com if you are severely allergic to any food and we will check with the restaurants.
Alcohol is strictly prohibited on the property of the Church of St. Peter and you will be asked to leave immediately if you are suspected of drinking or in possession of alcohol at the church. Additionally, alcohol is not allowed within the Reception at Shoreview Community Center.
Yes, the table number listed on your invitation will designate where you sit at the Reception and it will play a large role in one of our Wedding activities. Don't worry if you have lost your invitation, an email will be sent out one week before the wedding to the email provided in the Google Form document all guests filled out.
There is a large parking lot at the Church of St. Peter and the Shoreview Community Center.
