What began as a typical millennial love story quickly turned into something unforgettable. We met on Hinge—both looking for something real in an increasingly online world. After confirming we were both normal (and not murderers), we met in person. Brad planned the perfect first date: he picked Liz up (succulent in hand—points for creativity and longevity), and surprised her with a picnic at Alta Plaza Park. From the first laughs and easy conversation, we both knew this was something special. That first date turned into many more, followed by “I love yous,” family introductions, and holidays together. After a year of commuting between San Francisco and Benicia, we moved into our first home together in San Francisco and officially became co-cat parents. Five years of love, laughter, late-night talks, travel, career changes, and growing together brought us back to where it all started. Brad proposed at Alta Plaza Park, completely surprising Liz (despite her suspicions he’d propose in NYC—well played, Brad). She said yes through happy tears, only to find our families and closest friends waiting nearby to celebrate. It was the most thoughtful, beautiful day—complete with a custom menu dinner at Pizzeria Delfina. Now, we’re thrilled to begin this next chapter and can’t wait to celebrate our wedding day with you in the city where our love story has unfolded—San Francisco.
