Charleston International Airport
Kiawah Island is located right off the coast of Charleston, SC and is about a 45 minute drive from CHS Airport. Uber/Lyft are available from the airport - ***Lyft will incur a fee for entering the Kiawah Island Main Gate, Uber will not. You can also book in advance for trips to and from Kiawah (SC Express is a good option). Transportation back to airport needs to be arranged in advance as Uber/Lyft are often unavailable. If you drive in, let the attendant know you are here for the Greve/Rice wedding when you arrive at the Kiawah Island main gate. They will give you a gate pass that will provide access throughout the island.

Kiawah Island Housing Options
We can’t wait to celebrate with you in Kiawah! It takes a little extra effort to get here, but trust us—it’s absolutely worth it. It’s one of our favorite places in the world and we can't wait to experience it with you. Because Kiawah is a bit off the beaten path, there aren’t as many housing options as larger resort areas. We recommend booking your stay as soon as possible, especially since it fills up in the summer. Please see below for options on the island. Vacation Rentals
The most popular way to stay on Kiawah Island is by renting a villa or vacation home. There is a wide variety of options from studios to spacious homes. End to end, the island is only 25 minutes, so you can stay anywhere on the island. However, if you prefer not to book a vacation rental, there are two hotels on Kiawah Island that you can choose from (details below.) There are two options for booking your vacation rental: 1. Book Through the Kiawah Island Golf Resort** When you book directly through the Kiawah Island Golf Resort, you gain access to resort perks, including amenities like pools and tennis courts, complimentary shuttle service around the island, and priority booking for golf tee times. **IMPORTANT: To receive 10% off nighty rates for villas and homes booked through the resort, call 866-763-5056 and tell the agent you are booking for the Greve-Rice Rehearsal Dinner or use code 392. If you are booking online, note the wedding name and code in the comments section, and the resort will manually add the discount after you book. 2. Book Through VRBO or Airbnb You can also book through platforms like VRBO or Airbnb. These rentals tend to be more affordable, as they don’t include resort services. You'll find similar options as the resort's rentals, from oceanfront condos to private homes. You can still book golf and tennis at the resort through VRBO or Airbnb, but you won’t receive resort discounts on these services. We will be covering transportation on the day of our wedding, offering multiple stops along the island. More info to come on this!

Andell Inn
The Andell Inn is a Marriott property. It is located 5 minutes from the Kiawah Island Main Gate, so it is a bit removed from beach access and other island events, but still a great option if you prefer a hotel. Currently, their rates are higher than villas/rentals on Kiawah, but you can book through the below link for a 5% discount.
