The last year has been long distance for us, with only a handful of visits throughout. This past March, we planned a trip to San Antonio to see each other. It had been three months since our last visit, so we were really looking forward to it (especially Adrian, who had bought the ring back in January). The day finally arrived, and we spent the morning strolling through a farmer's market and grabbing breakfast at a local spot. Adrian then brought us to downtown San Antonio, where we walked along the River Walk, stopped by bakeries, and explored Mexican boutiques. When lunch time rolled around, we found our way to the Tower of the Americas and enjoyed a delicious meal in the revolving restaurant overlooking the city. Needless to say, this day was too good. And just when the day couldn't get much better, Adrian drove us to an airstrip so that we could take a helicopter ride!!! We enjoyed views of the city, flew over the Alamo, and waved to the people dining in the Tower in which we had just eaten lunch! The pilot landed the helicopter, we jumped out, then posed for a photo. This was the moment that Adrian turned to me, said "I love you", got on one knee....and I'm pretty sure he asked me to marry him, but I was freaking out, so all I remember is him putting the ring on my finger. And there you have it... now we're getting married!!
