Wesley and I both attended Saraland, but we didn’t officially meet until our senior year when two mutual friends invited us to dinner before prom. The moment Wesley walked in and sat down, my eyes were instantly drawn to him, and it was like finally recognizing what you’re missing. We still laugh about how we both ordered the same dish that night—Alfredo, of course, without broccoli. Wesley lived in the same neighborhood as part of my family, and we soon began going on evening walks and trips to the park, talking and laughing for hours. Wesley asked me on our first date September 23, we enjoyed mexican and the movies. In October 2023, Wesley officially asked me to be his girlfriend. From there, our love continued to grow. In March 2025, we got engaged—one of the best days of our lives. Wesley planned the most beautiful proposal, filled with everything I had ever dreamed of, followed by the sweetest surprise engagement party in our new home surrounded by the people we love. A month later we got our first kitty, Atlas. We continue to grow individually and as a couple celebrating each accomplishment we once talked about. From the day we met, our love story has continued to grow, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds as we begin this next chapter together.
