Buxton School

The awesome part about getting married at the school is that they will let us rent out the dorm rooms for the weekend as well! These are boarding school dorms, so think XL twin beds, shared bathrooms, no central air etc. but you get to be right on-campus with a 0 min commute to all the wedding events. This is a great options for friends! It will be $50/person per-night. There is a discounted rate of $25/person per-night if you add a 3rd or 4th person to a single room. Includes linens & towels. 5 minute drive (less than 2 miles) to Buxton and the biggest hotel around. This is where Elisabeth's parents are staying! If you are interested in staying at a hotel (and as a group), this is probably the best option. A shuttle will pick up from the Fairfield Marriott at 4pm. It will make return trips from Buxton to Fairfield Marriott around 9pm, 10pm and 11:15pm (end of the night).

A 4 minute drive to Buxton School, right down the street from the Fairfield Marriott. Small motel, limited rooms. A shuttle will pick up from the Fairfield Marriott at 4pm. It will make return trips from Buxton to Fairfield Marriott around 9pm, 10pm and 11:15pm (end of the night).

This hotel is a little further away in the next town over (North Adams), and a bit pricer, but is a newer, really beautiful property. Tourists is a 3 min drive (1.5 miles) from the Fairfield Marriott and 7 min drive (3.5 miles) from the Buxton School. A shuttle will pick up from the Fairfield Marriott at 4pm. It will make return trips from Buxton to Fairfield Marriott around 9pm, 10pm and 11:15pm (end of the night).

There are a bunch of rental house options available in and around town, all about 5-10 mins from the venue. We definitely recommend this if families want to do this together and/or you plan on staying in The Berkshire for an extended weekend. We recommend looking into this and booking soon though- these fill up fast for the summer!
