We decided to select a destination that would make it half way for our family from the States and Mauritius to be able to attend. Also, we visited Ireland in summer 2017 and instantly fell in love with the beauty and Celtic culture of this country. Oh and the last reason is a movie that Elisa must have watched a hundred thousand times : PS i love you :) A beautiful love story that begins in Ireland. Well should i mention that she also believes in Leprechauns and Fairies ?
Mauritian citizens need visa for travelling to Ireland as tourist. The stay is usually Short stay with a period of 90 days and visa expires in 90 days. Ireland in September can be quite delightful. It's an ideal time to explore Ireland. The weather can be very pleasant. Temperatures range from 13 degrees C / 55 degrees F to lows of 9 degrees C / 48 degree F. If it does rain, western and northern parts of the island receive the bulk. Most rain falls as showers, punctuated by sunshine. The upside? Seemingly endless days of spectacular rainbows! Luckily the wedding will be in Dungarvan which is in the southern part of Ireland.
