Question

What can you tell us about the venue?

Answer

We are celebrating in a National Forest in the summer so the venue is somewhat large and definitely grassy! There is a bit of a walk from the ceremony to reception space (please see map above). Golf carts will be available to bring guests with mobility needs between these areas. The reception dinner and dancing will be held under a large tented space with a concrete ground and dance floor atop. There will also be lawn games!

Where do we fly in!?

Answer

We recommend flying into the nearest airport, Portland International Airport (PDX). It is about an hour and a half drive from the venue and we know you'll enjoy the beautiful forest/mountain views along the way:)

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will be setting up a shuttle, details to come!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of space. We will have the entire resort to ourselves!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire: Cocktail dresses, summer dresses, dressy jumpsuits, suits, button down shirts and slacks...all acceptable!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you. Thank you!

What about COVID?

Answer

In light of COVID-19, your health and safety are our top priority. We understand that due to the pandemic, there is still much uncertainty. We are hoping for the best and so far things are looking good for August. Currently, the Mount Hood area is in the "Low Risk" category, so we will be able to move forward with the wedding we had originally planned. We have alternate plans for a COVID- style wedding as needed, and I will be communicating via email to keep you updated in terms of what that means. Keeping all of this in mind, of course make plans as needed and know that Michael and I understand however this may impact your decision. Stay safe and healthy!
