Let's take it back to the beginning. Daniel and Elisa first began their journey together in the summer of 2005. Daniel's parents were out of town, so he decided to throw his first ever party. It did not disappoint. The booze was flowing, the beer pong was competitive, and the shots were endless. To set the record straight, sparks did not fly this night, but inevitable love was in the air.. they just didn't know it then. Now let's flash forward to 2012 - Cancun, Mexico. What originally seemed like a crazy idea, became reality. 10 individuals - some friends, some strangers - with a common goal of celebrating life together. Though this trip was not their first moment of admiration for one another, there was an undeniable, yet unspoken spark between the two. Years passed. Framily trips (i.e. LC and Cancun 2014) kept their bond and friendship afloat, but both lacked the confidence to make the first move. Now let's dive into the juicy part of the story - Daniel's 30th birthday party. As Daniel was having the time of his life partying with his friends and family, Elisa was home watching her Ducks lose. Simply put, she was not in the mood to party. But wait! A voice of reason (Mal) texted Elisa, peer pressuring her to join the festivities. Elisa obliged. When Elisa showed up to the party, Daniel's level of excitement went from 10 to 100. He boldly approached her and immediately dueled her to one-on-one flip cup. Elisa won five straight matches, leaving Daniel in disbelief. It was at this moment, he knew she was the one. He finally built up the courage to ask her out on a date, and after multiple Blazers and Timbers games, they became a unit. After two years of dating, Daniel knew that this was true love, and he had to spend the rest of his life with her. He bought the ring, got down on one knee, and popped the question. Daniel and Elisa spent the rest of the night celebrating their love for one another with their closest family and friends.
