We grew up 1.5 miles apart and went to rival high schools. Eliran attended Rebecca's senior prom with a classmate, to which we first met, but do not remember the first interaction. 5 years later, we matched online when Rebecca sent the first message. The day after our first date, we both traveled to separate continents for vacation, but spoke everyday despite the time difference. The rest is history...

Family members acted suspicious, but the secret proposal wasn't spoiled. Eliran got down on one knee to pop the question after a boat ride in Westlake, CA. The lake is a special place for Rebecca, as this place was frequently visited as a child with all of her grandparents. Eliran planned a whole speech, but was only able to yell out the big question due to nerves. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in November!
