No! We are not expecting any gifts. Your presence is all that we request. However, if you can’t help yourself, we are accepting cash donations for our Honeymoon.

Average highs are around 80 and average lows are around 60 in Oaxaca in late June. When you check the weather, make sure to type "Oaxaca de Juarez" instead of just Oaxaca.

Answer

You can't use US dollars anywhere in Oaxaca. The exchange rate is about 18 Mexican pesos to 1 US dollar but that is subject to change. Very few places accept credit cards so it is a good idea to have pesos in cash.
