We're getting married!

Eliot and Delaney met at a church retreat for young adults in Door County, WI. They both caught each other's eye and spent a lot of time getting to know each other over that weekend. It was right before Delaney left to go back to Appleton that Eliot asked if she would like to get coffee some time and got her number. A week later they got coffee and have been almost inseparable since.

On November 15th, Eliot popped the question! He took Delaney to 1,000 Island Nature Preserve, one of their favorite places for walking. At the end of the walk there was a look-out viewing area where their siblings had set up a little area with flours and candles. The viewing area was at the bottom of some stairs and at the top of the stairs there was a small bunch of flowers. Eliot picked up the flowers asking what they were. Not having any idea what they were, Delaney just shrugged. As they walked down the stairs, Delaney saw the candles and flowers, and that was when she started realizing what was happening. Eliot led her over, dropped down on one knee, and asked her to marry him! Obviously, she said YES!
