The Chuppah and the Sheva Brachot
Before the evening celebration begins, we will stand together beneath the Chuppah. The Chuppah is the space where two paths become one. Open on all four sides, it represents the life we choose to build together, turned toward one another and toward Hashem. It symbolizes a home founded on presence, trust, and commitment, beyond its future walls. Beneath the Chuppah, the Sheva Brachot, the seven wedding blessings, will be recited. The Sheva Brachot speak of joy, of voices that answer one another, of building and harmony. They give direction to our commitment, linking our union to a spiritual dimension that guides and uplifts us. Under the Chuppah, surrounded by those we love, we affirm our choice to walk together, toward one another and together toward Hashem, in a relationship shaped by respect and shared responsibility. The evening that follows will continue this moment through joy, music, and dance, celebrating this marriage and bringing it fully to life.
