FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our dress code is black tie optional. We invite our guests to dress in formal attire, tuxes or dark suits for gentlemen, and floor-length gowns, midi dresses, or elevated cocktail attire for ladies. Our wedding colors are black and gold, and you’re welcome to lean into the palette if you’d like! We ask that white be reserved for the bride for both the rehearsal events and the wedding day.

Question

I have allergies/dietary restrictions, will I be able to have the food at the celebration?

Answer

Yes! Our caterer accommodates most any allergies and dietary restrictions. When you RSVP, there will be a section to specify whether you need accommodation for food. The food during the celebration is buffet style; however, if you have specified an accommodation, your food will be plated and served to you to ensure that no cross-contamination has occurred. We want all guests to feel safe and worry-free during the celebration!

Question

Is there a rehearsal dinner celebration?

Answer

Our wedding party will be gathering for a private rehearsal dinner. After the main dinner has concluded, we’re excited to open things up and invite the guests to join us at Bar Bantam for dessert and drinks to kick off the celebration together!

Question

Do I get a plus one?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with you! If a plus one has been reserved for you, it will be clearly listed on your invitation. Due to space limitations, we’re only able to accommodate those guests formally included on each invite. Thank you so much for understanding!

Question

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

We absolutely love having little ones celebrate with us! Children are welcome to attend if they are specifically listed on your invitation. Due to space limitations, we’re only able to accommodate those guests named on each invite.

Question

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at Arbor Midtown, Rochester, NY

Question

Will the ceremony be unplugged? (Phones and Photos)

Answer

Yes, we’re planning an unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask that you silence your phones and refrain from taking photos during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present in the moment. Don’t worry, our photographer will be capturing it all, and we can’t wait to share the photos with you!

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided. However, our recommended hotels, Hilton Rochester Downtown and Hyatt Regency Rochester, are located directly across the street from the venue, making it an easy walk to and from the celebration. Valet parking will also be available at the venue for those who choose to drive.
