HOW & WHEN SHOULD I RSVP?

You can submit your RSVP through our button at the top of the page! All invited guests will appear here to mark as "attending" or "declining". If you have not done so, please RSVP by June 1st.

WHAT IF I RSVP'D AND CAN'T MAKE IT?

Answer

You will be missed! Life happens, no worries. Please let the bride of groom know as soon as possible!

WHAT IF I DON'T RSVP IN TIME?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by June 1st, 2026 you will be marked as "not attending". We would love to celebrate with you, however we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors as soon as possible.

We love all children, but we will not be inviting them to the ceremony or the reception.

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

Answer

Yes - the dress code is formal. For men, suits or jackets are appropriate; for women, cocktail dresses are recommended. The wedding party will be in light blues. The ceremony & reception will be indoors.

WHAT TIME IS HOTEL CHECK-IN & CHECK OUT?

Hotel check-in will be at 4:00p.m. at both Hotel Fort Des Moines and The Savory Hotel. Hotel check out will be at 11:00a.m. at both Hotel Fort Des Moines and The Savory Hotel.

IS THERE PARKING AT THE HOTEL(S)?

Answer

Yes, at Hotel Fort Des Moines guests can valet for $38/night or self park in the nationwide parking garage, located at 1100 Walnut St. The cost of this parking garage is $10/day. At the Savory Hotel guests can valet for $35/night at the hotel or self park in the City of Des Moines 4th & Grand Public Parking Garage located at 400 Grand Ave Des Moines 50309 for $10/day. There is also metered parking available on the streets surrounding the hotels.

IS THERE PARKING AT THE CEREMONY?

For the ceremony, parking is available in the lot next to or behind the Cathedral which can be accessed by High Street or 6th Street. There will also be metered parking available around the building.

PICTURES DURING THE CEREMONY

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. Our photographer will capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them.
