What is the dress code?

We kindly invite guests to dress in semi-formal attire that reflects the romantic, elegance of our outdoor October wedding. As our celebration will be outdoors, we recommend: • Layering pieces like shawls, wraps, or light jackets for cooler fall weather • Block heels, wedges, boots, or dressy flats for comfort on grass or uneven ground

We are so grateful to celebrate this special day with you. As we build our future together and save for our first home, we have chosen not to have a traditional registry. Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for; however, if you wish to honor us with an additional gesture, cards are warmly appreciated, and we invite guests to bring a pet food item or supply to be donated to our local animal shelter.

Yes, children are welcome to attend our wedding celebration!

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

We’ll be keeping the drinks flowing all night! Coolers will be stocked with an abundance of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for everyone to enjoy. Please help yourselves, stay refreshed, and celebrate with us!

Yes, you are welcome to bring a plus one! Please indicate their attendance when you RSVP.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at three thirty in the afternoon. Please arrive fifteen minutes before the ceremony to get settled.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking available. There will also be a shuttle bus from Janesville and or American Aluminum Extrusion company in Roscoe to the ceremony for those who do not want to drive down to Rockford.

To RSVP, go to the RSVP page on this website. Please submit your RSVP by August 15th so we can plan accordingly!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the event. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!

Will the ceremony and reception be at the same location?

Answer

Yes, both will take place at Jake and Jenn’s home. (Mother and Step Father of the Groom)

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting), along with the reception. Please dress accordingly to the weather.
