Forever Young

Sometimes the best love stories don’t start with a big moment, they start with two people choosing to try. What we built didn’t happen overnight. It grew through effort, patience, and showing up for each other in ways that mattered. We met on the dating app BLK while living two hours apart, him in Myrtle Beach and me in Charleston. From the very beginning, distance wasn’t a dealbreaker. We made the drive every week on our days off because being together was always worth it. On January 24, 2021, we officially started dating, and from there everything unfolded naturally. Our relationship was built on consistency, effort, and learning how to love each other through every season. On June 10, 2023, we welcomed our son, Elijah Young Jr., named after his father. Becoming parents shifted everything in the best way and strengthened our bond. In March 2024, we got engaged, already knowing we were building something solid. That same year, on September 30, 2024, we welcomed our daughter, Historia Young, completing our family. Now, we’re counting down to October 10, 2026, when we’ll say “I do.” Our love has been shaped by real life, real growth, and real commitment. We’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the people who’ve supported us along the way.
