We're getting married!

After moving from Canada to New York, Elijah landed himself a job at Apple, where he met Phillip O'Brien (Phylicia's brother). The two of them became best friends while working together. After some time, Phillip started introducing Elijah to his family and friends. Elijah at this point, never had the opportunity to see Phylicia because she was always studying for nursing school. As time went by, they finally met each other for the first time at a Friendsgiving. On that day, a curiosity sparked for each other. Time went by, and Phylicia graduated from nursing school, and Elijah begun his hockey season where he would invite friends and family to attend. One day Phylicia surprised him with her attendance at a game, and his smile seemed to be bigger than usual that night. From there on, the two developed a friendship by sharing faith with each other and their relationships with God. As feelings started to grow for each other, Elijah asked Phylicia out on their first date on June 21, 2021.
