Eli and his family moved to Maumee his senior year of high school when Lindsay was only a freshman. With Maumee being such a small school district, everyone knew when there was a new student. Lindsay's friend at the time was initially attracted to Eli and wanted to go see him perform in the play at our school. After tagging along, another friend of Lindsay's introduced them to Eli which was quite short and awkward. Fast forward to the summer of 2018, Eli and Lindsay both matched on Tinder where they agreed to go out on a date. Little did Eli know that Lindsay already knew who he was and had only accepted his invitation to eventually tell her friend from high school who she had just went on a date with. Upon arrival, Eli and Lindsay hit it off from the beginning and turned a simple dinner date into a whole evening filled with laughter and smiles. They went on to spend every day that summer getting to know each other and eventually falling in love.
