We want everyone to feel their best in whatever they choose to wear! Most people will be in cocktail or semi-formal attire. This means dresses, suits, or dress shirt with slacks are all welcomed options. Please keep in mind it will be midsummer in the UP so it can range anywhere from 55 to 80 degrees. We ask that you please bring comfortable options so you are prepared. So please keep in mind to bring a jacket if necessary. Since the reception will be at a park we recommend wearing shoes you are comfortable wearing on cement, gravel, wood floors, and/or grass. We do request that you not wear white or colors that photograph similarly like off-white, beige, tan, or champagne.
We have booked off two options for you to stay at. We have the Birchmont Hotel or the Fairfield Hotel. We have the address and prices on the website. If you go to travel you should find both of them. Make sure you have it booked before June 2.
Unfortunately the venue we have picked for the reception does have limited seating so we cannot allow you to bring a date unless it is specified on your invitation. Thank you.
Luckily we do have free parking at both locations, However since the reception is at a park we can not guarantee you a spot in the parking lot. We do have a shuttle that will be making trips from both of the hotels for drop off and pick up if you do not wish to drive. We do ask that you try your best to not drink and drive and that you take the shuttle if you decide to bring your car. We want all of our loved ones to be safe. Thank you.
The ceremony will begin at 1 but we ask for you to arrive 15 mins early. If you do arrive late we also ask of you to wait for the processional to be over and sit quietly in the back.
Yes, kids are welcomed but please keep in mind we do have limited seated and would prefer if you could to leave the kids back home. Thank you.
Yes, we will be serving food at the reception along with an open bar. We will have plenty of beverages to offer you.
There will be transportation available to you for only the day of the wedding. If you do need a ride somewhere please ask someone you know or schedule a Marq Tran ride. It is a dollar both ways.
Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on their social media channels, our only request is that you tag our wedding hashtag #KaiserTime so we can keep track of all of out pictures!
