FAQs

Question

Why do women wear veils during mass?

Answer

Women covering their heads during mass is a tradition of the Catholic church as a sign of reverence, humility, and modesty. It is a way to emulate Mary, an archetype of purity. This tradition highlights the significance and beauty of the woman.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you have received a plus one invitation, it would have been in the same envelope as your invite card. Also, when you submit your RSVP, it will ask you if you are bringing a plus one if we gave you one. Our venue holds a limited amount of people, so we were unable to give everyone a plus one, but if this is important to you, reach out to us as the wedding gets closer and we will let you know if we have room based on RSVPs.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 11:30, but because of seating, we hope to see you all by 11:15!

Question

What time can I arrive at the reception site?

Answer

The wedding party will not arrive until 4 pm. We'd like everyone to be there about 15 minutes before this so we can start dinner and speeches on time. We are not having a cocktail hour, but if you'd like to arrive early (2-4 pm), there will be tailgate games in the grass by the parking area (cornhole, spikeball, etc.) and you may bring your own drinks if desired.

Question

Why does my invite only say the reception address?

Answer

The bride and groom have decided to have a small ceremony with only close family members present. If your invite does not say the ceremony address, we will plan to see you after at the reception site! We are so excited to celebrate with you and all of our friends!
