Indy 500

Our wedding ceremony starts at 5:30 PM, and it just happens to be the same day as the Indy 500 — one of the largest sporting events in the world! Please plan for heavier-than-usual traffic, especially in the afternoon as racegoers head home. Even though the race ends around 3 PM, westbound traffic (especially around I‑465, I‑70, and Rockville Rd) will likely be very congested from 3:00–6:00 PM. To ensure you arrive on time and stress-free, we recommend leaving by 2:30–3:00 PM (even if GPS says less time). Thank you so much for making the trip—we can't wait to celebrate with you!
