Flying into San Diego can often be the easiest option—Europa Village Winery is just about 1 to 1.5 hours away by car. By Car/Rental Car: From SAN, head north on the I-15 Freeway. Exit at Rancho California Road in Temecula, and follow the signs to Europa Village in the heart of wine country. By Shuttle/Car Service: Several shuttle and private car companies operate between SAN and Temecula. This is a great choice if you’d rather relax after your flight. By Rideshare: Uber and Lyft are also available from SAN, and the shorter distance makes this option more affordable compared to LAX. Traffic around San Diego is generally lighter than Los Angeles, but we still recommend giving yourself extra time to enjoy a smooth and stress-free trip.

For guests flying into Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), the drive to Europa Village Winery in Temecula typically takes about 2 to 2.5 hours, depending on traffic. By Car/Rental Car: The most convenient option is to rent a car at LAX. From the airport, you’ll head south on the 405 Freeway, connect to the 91 East, then transition to the 15 South. Exit at Rancho California Road in Temecula, and you’ll find Europa Village nestled right in wine country. By Shuttle/Car Service: Several shuttle companies and private car services operate between LAX and Temecula. This option may be ideal if you’d like to avoid driving after a long flight. By Rideshare: Services like Uber and Lyft are available, though the cost for such a long trip can be quite high compared to a rental car or shared shuttle. We recommend planning your travel with Southern California traffic in mind—it’s best to allow extra time, especially if arriving during weekday afternoons or evenings.
