FAQs

The Wedding Website of Eve Lutze and Elijah Winnington
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To ensure we are able to give the venues accurate numbers at an appropriate time, we kindly ask you to RSVP via the website by Sunday, 01 June 2025.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is black tie, and we kindly request that all guests wear outfits that are black. A black-tie wedding is a formal event where guests are expected to wear elegant evening attire, typically including a tuxedo or formal suit for men and a long evening gown or sophisticated dress for women.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

To ensure the formal proceedings begin on time, please arrive at 2:30 PM.

Question

What can we do to fill in the time between the Ceremony and Reception?

Answer

Following the ceremony, there will be a brief interlude before the 5:00 PM reception. As the parking for the reception is at Eagle Street Pier, there are plenty of places within this precinct to grab a drink and is within walking distance to customs house. Parking: Wilsons Parking at Riverside 123 Eagle Street, Brisbane (5-minute walk to customs house).

Question

Do you have any dietary restrictions or preferences?

Answer

You'll be able to include your dietary requirements when you RSVP. If you are concerned about this, please reach out to Eve.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Our wedding is an adults-only event; however, we understand that if you have a newborn, they may require care during the celebration, and we’re happy to accommodate them.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is street parking available at the ceremony venue, but please note that city parking is only available for the reception venue and is limited to mostly underground paid parking. We recommend pre-paying for parking, as it's a more affordable option, or leaving your car at the ceremony venue and taking an Uber or taxi to the reception. Carpooling is also a great alternative!
