So, we originally planned for something big. 250 people at an abandoned train station in Oakland. A live band and our entire community in attendance to celebrate our union. As 2020 progressed, our plans became more and more infeasible, so we had to adapt. We conducted an intimate backyard ceremony, complete with boychik bagels, socially distanced seating arrangements, and a ketubah (a jewish wedding contract) read from notes on an ipad. We then began a thrilling year. We remodeled our house, explored the great state of California, and got to know each other as a married couple. Although it's been a blast, we really missed the chance to celebrate with the ones we love. We would be honored for you to bear witness to the official signing of our ketubah, as we take what we’ve learned from the last year and commit to our future together. To ensure the safety of our guests, only those who are vaccinated may attend (aside from a few small children).
