What's the theme/vibe of the wedding?

Whimsical forest vibes, with a chance of fairies.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Barring an absolute downpour, we are planning to hold both the ceremony and the reception outside. The ceremony will be on grass, so plan your shoe choice accordingly. Cocktail attire is fine, but we also appreciate long flowing dresses to match the whimsical theme!

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Connecticut is about 2 weeks behind Pennsylvania in terms of the seasons, so expect warm weather and sunlight, with the possibility of some showers.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

We are working on coordinating a possible shuttle for those staying at our affiliated hotels. Lyft and Uber are available as well. If driving, carpooling would be most helpful given there is only so much parking space in the residential area. Be wary of 4 Bluewater Lane -- that is their neighbor! Our venue is 4 Bluewater Hill South.

What is the general timeline of the day?

Answer

Guests are welcome to begin arriving at the venue around 5:00, with the ceremony to start at 5:30. The ceremony will be followed by a Receiving Line so Elijah and Amanda can greet everyone during cocktail hour, while live music plays. Dinner will be served at 7:15, in a buffet format, followed by dancing. Festivities to end by 10:30pm.
