How do I get to Peace Arch Park from the Canadian side?

Answer

If coming from the east (anywhere before highstreet) take hwy 1 until you get to highstreet and take the exit onto the Fraser highway. You'll pass Devon nursery and then take a left down Bradner Rd. Take Bradner until you get to King Rd and take a right. You'll be on King Rd for a while (maybe 45 minutes) and the road name will turn into 16ave. Follow 16th and when you get to the Pacific Hwy (or 176st) turn left. DO NOT! I REPEAT DO NOT GO TOO FAR ON 176th/Pacific HWY OR ELSE YOU WILL GO THROUGH THE U.S. BORDER. Make sure to turn right on 8th ave or 4th ave but not past that. If you turn right on 8th ave take the first left down 172st. In that residential area you will have to find a parking spot.

Where do I park on the Canadian side?

Answer

You will have to find a place to park in the residential area next to the park. DO NOT PARK ON THE ROAD DIRECTLY BESIDE THE PARK! Make sure you are allowed to park where you are so you don't get towed. Unless you know who lives there, do not park in anyone's driveway. There are some designated spots to park like on 171st on the right side of the road. But you may have to walk a little ways so come prepared (bring a change of shoes if you are planning to wear heals:)

How do I get to Peace Arch from the American side?

Answer

You can follow google maps the whole way there, just be sure to TAKE THE CORRECT EXIT AT THE ROUND ABOUT, right before the park. If you take the wrong exit you will go through the Canadian border. There is a sign at the round about exit that says Peace Arch Park.

Question

What is the parking like on the American side?

Answer

There is a designated parking lot for the Americans. You will need a Discovery Pass to get free parking because it is a State Park. If you don't have a Park Pass there are pay stations to pay for your parking.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will most likely be indoors unless we are blessed with some warm sunny weather the day of the wedding. The reception to follow will be indoors.

Will I be able to bring a plus one?

Answer

We are trying to keep the ceremony small as we do not have a large venue so we kindly ask that only those invited attend.

Can I take photos during the ceremony and reception?

Answer
