Eli and I actually went to high school together, but we barely spoke back then. We had a few awkward encounters throughout the years but nothing more. Years later, we ran into each other again at Aiden’s graduation. Not long after, I decided to be a little bold and slid into Eli’s DMs and luckily for me, he answered. Our first date was lunch at Chuy’s, where we realized we probably should’ve talked more back in school. For our second date, we went to Matt’s for drinks. At some point that night, I convinced Eli we absolutely needed to make a stop at Walmart so I could find a Stitch toy for Willow. That day I was running around Walmart a little tipsy, looking like a crazy person on a mission to find Stitch, while Eli followed along trying to keep up. Somehow that made him decide to stick with us… and the rest is history.
