What should I wear?

Answer

Semi-Formal, Wedding Casual, or Traditional Laotion/Thai Attire. There are no restrictions on colors.

How do I get to the event?

Answer

In order to get to our home you need to route to the front gate 7335 Monte Viso Dr Las Vegas, NV 89131. Once you've entered the gates, please input our address 8714 Mayport Drive. Las Vegas NV 89131.

Is there parking available?

Answer

No. There will be no parking. Uber/Lyft is required.

What Food Will Be Served?

Answer

We’ll be serving a variety of traditional Thai and Laotian dishes, including favorites like egg rolls, papaya salad, noodles, wings, and more. To add variety and to accommodate guests who prefer gluten-free options we’ll also have a taco truck on site.

Will alcohol be provided?

Answer

Yes, of course! We will have an Open Bar. For those who have a special preference, you may bring your preferred alcohol.

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Our registry is listed on our website. We politely decline any gifts, but have set up a newlywed fund.

Will the event be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The event is at our home and will primarily be outdoor. In an effort to combat the heat, we planned the event to start when the temperature starts to drop. In addition, we will have misters, parasols, and hand fans available.

What is a Laotian wedding parade?

Answer

As part of tradition, the groom and his family parade to the bride’s home with music, laughter, and symbolic offerings. Along the way, the bride’s family playfully blocks the path with “gates,” and the groom’s party must offer small gifts or money to pass through. It’s a lively, joyful procession that symbolizes the groom’s commitment and brings both families together in celebration.
