Are my kids invited to the wedding?

Answer

We have decided to make this day a child free occasion. We adore all of your beautiful children but we hope you can take this as an opportunity to let your hair down for the night! There is a link to a local child care company at the bottom of the "Travel" page.

What date do I need to RSVP by?

In order to finalize headcounts and menus, please RSVP *no later than* 3/15/2024.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Festive Cocktail attire. It’s May in Savannah so think bright colors or fun patterns/textures! Where is the venue for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception will take place at Savannah Quarters in Pooler Georgia (20 minutes outside of Savannah near the airport) - 8 Palladian Wy, Pooler, GA 31322

Will transportation be provided to and from the venue

Answer

Transportation will be provided after the reception from the venue back to the Historic District. Guests will be responsible for getting themselves to the venue ahead of the ceremony. Savannah has both Uber and Lyft if you'd like to take a rideshare and there is also parking at the venue if you prefer to drive. Please note that there will be the ability to leave your car overnight if you are overserved but it will need to be moved *early the next morning*.

Is there parking at the venue if I want to drive myself?

Answer

There is plenty of parking at the venue if you prefer to drive yourself. If you’re overserved please rest assured you can leave your car overnight safely and pick it up the following morning.

Will the wedding be inside or outside?

Answer

The ceremony will be outside (weather permitting), the cocktail hour will be inside and outside and the reception will be inside. The patio will be available to step out onto throughout the night.

Do you have hotel blocks?

Answer

We have three room blocks at hotels in the Historic District. Please see the travel page for links and other options. Please note hotel block pricing expires 4/15/24.

Can I rent a house instead?

Answer

Absolutely! We highly recommend this option as there are so many beautiful and historic homes in Savannah! We recommend using LuckySavannah.com or VRBO but it's a busy time in Savannah so don't wait too long to book!

Will there be a shuttle to and from hotels?

Answer

Unfortunately, since the Historic area of Savannah is a bit spread out we will not be shuttling between hotels. The buses taking guests back downtown after the reception will be dropping everyone off at a single location on Bay Street, likely on the end near Savannah Smiles, guests can continue the night or head back to their hotels/houses either by foot, rideshare or pedicab. You can also check with your hotel to see if they offer a shuttle service for their guests.

Will there be meal options for guests with allergies or dietary restrictions?

Please let us know if you fall under this category and we will make sure you have a meal you’re able to eat.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We will be offering unlimited beer and wine from our chosen bar menu. The venue is a country club so if you want something that we aren’t offering you are welcome to use your own card to order anything else.

Can you suggest things to do/places to eat?

Answer

There are SO many great options for things to do in Savannah which is one of the many reasons it’s one of our favorite cities. Please see the “Things to Do” page for some of our top suggestions.

Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?

Answer

Part of the reason we’re choosing to have the wedding on a Friday is so we can spend the rest of the weekend with all our loved ones that travel to Savannah! Details TBD!!
