What is the dress code for the wedding?

What should I avoid wearing?

Answer

Please avoid jeans, shorts, and other casual attire. We ask guests wearing dresses to be mindful of tradition and reframe from wearing white, red, and black. Be mindful as well that really light pastels and neutrals may appear white on camera. We ask that if you are wearing a patterned dress, you are mindful as well that the dress is not more than 30% of the off limits colors. We have provided a Pintrest board in our dress code FAQ to inspire you and please feel free to reach out if you have any questions about a specific item of clothing!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

No, our wedding reception will be a tea party and is going to be alcohol free. We ask that you respect this and do not bring your own alcohol either. Tea and other nonalcoholic beverages will be provided.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are keeping our wedding small so we can celebrate with those we know closely. Please only bring a date if it is specified on your invite.

What type of food will be served at the reception? What if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

We have not finalized our menu yet for the wedding but will update this with more information when available. Our wedding is tea party inspired though so food will be similar to high tea and there will be vegetarian options available.
