We absolutely loved this place, beautiful mediterranean architecture and a great place for photos. It is not your typical spot when people think of Miami, yet it is part of the history of this city.
Pérez Art Museum Miami
1103 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami, FL 33132
If you are interested in modern art, the Perez Art Museum is a great place to go. Not to mention it has a restaurant with a wonderful view of the Biscayne Bay
Phillip & Patricia Frost Museum of Science
1101 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami, FL 33132
We had one of our best early dates at the Frost Museum, although I would recommend it most to families with kids! Not to mention it is right next to the Perez Museum so you can make a whole day out of visiting these two places.
Cafe La Trova
971 Southwest 8th Street, Miami, FL 33130
Cafe La Trova is such a Calle 8 Miami staple. If you are looking to check out Calle 8 this is a great place to go for dinner. It is always packed, so it is best to make reservations. After dinner it is super fun to go dancing nearby to Cubaocho
Joe's Stone Crab
11 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33139
Joe Stone Crab is one of those classic Miami establishments that has been around for ages (literally 100 years). It is one of those places out-of-towners need to visit but also loved by locals.
Lucali
1930 Bay Road, Miami Beach, FL 33139
Hands down our favorite pizza place in Miami. Pies are big so two people can easily share one.
